Certified photocopies - what is required?

Hi all,

I was wondering if people knew what photocopies are required to be certified / notarized? We are included the following as official documents:

• Marriage certificate
• Passport
• Birth certificate
• Degree certificate

I am in the UK and was thinking of using the Document Certification Service (postoffice.co.uk/document-certification-service). I'm not sure if this is accepted by CIC or if they would prefer a solicitor, etc?

Why are you certifying anything if they are already in english? General guide and UK country specific guide clearly states only photocopies not in english or french need to be certified true copies.
