Certificate of qualification skilled trade question

Hello everyone ,I'm applying through ONIP Skilled Trade Worker Stream which is under Express Entry as well. It will need 400+ CRS points to be nominated. I noticed that a Certificate of Qualification will give you 50 points so that I can get 400+ CRS. I am a registered automotive apprentice under minstry of education, also I'm holding a statement of membership certificate from Ontario College of Trades (not sure if it counts as C of Q). Now I'm struggling whether should I submit my apprenticeship certificate with application because I heard mispresentation could lead to a 5 years ban . Anybody have ideas if apprenticeship certificate will count 50 points? Appreciate for that.

A certificate of apprenticeship isn't a certificate of qualification. It only allows you to take the exam to receive a certificate of qualification.

Thank you for replying, can I still submit my apprenticeship certificate to give a try? Is there any risk for being banned in the future?

No, because it's not the right document. If you deliberately lie on an application you can be banned for misrepresentation.

Hi, i also have the same situation and i have been in the same trade as apprentice. Does it qualify for onip skilled trades?
And do we write for when did you get qualified for this job?

I work as a butcher so can i get this certification too for 50 points.?
