Certificate of employment for managing wife's business??

Hi Guys,

I have a question to all regarding the certificate of employment.

If My wife is listed as the proprietor of our businesses but I am the one managing and supervising the business.

what would be my classification? as a businessman or as an employee of my wife?

If i put my classification as a businessman i wont be able to provide proof of ownership of the business because its listed under my wife's name.

if i put myself as an employee of my wife, would it be credible to the IO if my wife makes a certificate of employment for her husband? Would a letter of explaination signed by my wife suffice?
