I currently have scores as follows,
R-10
L-10
W-9
S-8
Yeah I know, I lost the 9 band scale by a point and wasn't aware of the points boost it was offering me then. So I didn't apply for re-evaluation.
Coming to my question, Currently the crs tool is giving me a score of 457 points based on my current CELPIP score and one year of Canadian experience (I do not have any foreign work experience). Is it a good idea to give the CELPIP test again to boost my score to 465 (Based on crs tool result for 9 band in all sections of CELPIP)?
Your suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, if you do not want to wait.
Yes OP.
The best idea would be to update your EE profile with current CELPIP score and apply for another attempt at CELPIP.
It will be tricky as you must focus on improving from your current benchmark and at the same time maintaining proficiency/score in the modules you all already good at.
Thank you all for your replies. Which do you think is better for me? CELPIP or IELTS...?? I found the CELPIP speaking section to be a little weird as I had to speak to a computer and wasn't comfortable with it. As a result I had quite a bit of stuttering and pauses before I could complete each task of the speaking section. Also, it's been ages since I touched a pen/pencil and wrote something on a piece of paper. How difficult would it be to do the writing tasks for IELTS?
OP it depends on personal opinion. I believe CELPIP is definitely easier.
For speaking I suggest you explore the concept of the test to understand what is expected for a higher score.
Try their free online test a couple of times and you will get acquainted to the format and the time provided for each speaking task.
Your CLB 8 for speaking seems really good and there is a lot of room for improvement.
If you've not been writing a lot lately then you will need to practice your writing/handwriting for IELTS.
CELPIP is easier in this module if your typing is exceptional.
On a side note, How else can I boost my score with an LMIA or nomination? The following are my scores

Go for Celpip reevaluation. My speaking score got increased from 8 to 10 and writing from 8 to 9.
It is cheap and fast, you can just send speaking and writing for reval.
Sadly I can't send it now since I took the test last year in october

If you feel donfident that you could easily improve on that score, then I would give it a try. The way things are currently going, 465 is definitely a much better position to be in than 457.
All the best for the exam!

I can't send you as the tests have expired. You can buy them from celpip website. I paid $35 for 3 months I think.
