In a few months I will complete 1 year of work experience and will apply for Express Entry under CEC class. I have a dependant, my partner, who is completing 1 year as well, however during some weeks he didn’t reach the 30h (even though the contract is FT).
1) Can I count the weeks where he did 20h as part time? Let’s say he reached 20h for 8 non consecutive weeks during the year. Can I count them as 4 weeks full time? And then he will work another month full time to make up for the other time that is missing. Or is it safer to work the whole 8 weeks FT again?
Sometimes he still has 60+ hours in the biweekly paystub even though he worked 1 week less than 30h and 1 week 30+, however I believe IRCC will be able to see the amount of hours for each week regardless of what is shown in the paystub.
2) To submit the Express Entry profile do both me and my dependant need to have 1y of work? Can I apply when I complete my 1 year and then I’ll add his 1 year work experience as soon as he completes it?
