Hello friends,
As we all know that express pr system will ge launched in January 2015.Still gave doubts how it's going to effect people who are already in the Canada. My husband is currently doing his posdoc in cell biology and we were thinking of applying gor our pr by Feb as we will finish our one year by then.Now the question is according to the list of 50 eligible occupations biologists does not come, so what will happen to us.How will biologists show their expression of interest to apply for the pr? Any suggestions guys.Thank you

I know I was reading about the express pr system but it only mentions for inviting people from abroad but how it will effect the people who are already working in canada is unclear and the list in demand has no mention for biologists

No one can tell you. The full rules haven't been announced yet.

None of us know how the new Express Entry system is going to work and how it is going to affect the various economic immigration programs. You will have to wait until December 2014 or January 2015 to learn more. Word is that it is going to be similar to Australia and New Zealand's immigration system. If you are still very curious you can read up on their immigration and that should give you a fair idea of what Canada's Express Entry is going to be like.

P.S: There have been several discussions on Express Entry wherein curious aspiring applicants like yourself have asked the same question and have received the same answer. None of us have any more information than you do. We all have to wait until January 2015 to learn more about Express Entry.

I know gave been going through the Australian pr system and there are provisions for skilled work.

Guess it will be faster and those wh ok have canadian ex in skilled category wilk recieve the pr faster.
