My CEC file was refused due to my foreign experience. The job duties were limited, with only 40% matching the NOC code. Has anyone experienced the same situation and received approval upon reconsideration?

Then that really isn’t reconsideration because reconsideration is for an error in law. You can try but opening up your file because employer lied on your original letter, and now IRCC may figure that they are lying again for you just to fit the NOC.

reconsideration in most of cases is approved if their is error from IRCC side .
Don't want to lower your hopes but chances are very slim still go for it as well as make a new profile and enter in the pool again good luck.
What was the content on your GCMS notes? Was your points for foreign experience was assessed by case analyst on GCMS? Any phrase like "Ready to Finalize" on GCMS?

Hi, my consultant made a mistake in choosing the right NOC code and did not check with me before applying, leading to a refusal of my CEC application. When I applied for reconsideration, IRCC's response was that they only accept appeals if there is a mistake on their end—rightly so, because of the long process they need to go through. I have reapplied and am hoping for a better outcome this time.
