I am looking for someone with experience reading into the "Level of Education" for the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS). I am having trouble understanding the line "Two or more certificates, diplomas, or degrees. One must be for a program of three or more years". I currently have an Bachelor's degree in Science (4 years; 120 credits) and also a certificate (~1y; 20 credits) and I am wondering if I qualify under this or if I should only put "Bachelor's degree OR a three or more year program at a university, college, trade or technical school, or other institute" as my education level. Some clarification regarding what is considered a University Certificate by CIC would be much appreciated.
Apparently, you can mention it as Bachelor's + Certificate if you are ready to have your certificate validated equivalent to Canadian education for your points to be considered.
Skip if your 20 points doesn't really effect your chances of getting an ITA.
It's your decision
I do not need an ECA because both of these were obtained in Canada. I was hoping I could use it to be eligible for 128 points under Education as well as 100 points for Skill transferability factors under "Two or more post-secondary program credentials AND at least one of these credentials was issued on completion of a post-secondary program of three years or longer". The only thing is that I did the certificate at the same time as my degree and therefore I it took me 4 years to get both of them, this is why I am not sure if this qualifies or not.
