Any idea of the current processing times if you apply for PR under CEC from within Canada? The CIC website says 13 months but I have heard of a case where the person got his PR in 7 months. Is that true for all/most cases or a rarity?
Thanks.
It really depends on cases (nationality, personal history) + things happening within CIC. I'd say, on average, you should get by 9th or 10th month from your application date. I wouldn't plan anything important assuming I'll get PR it within 7 months.

I am curious about it too, I heard someone reject after 15 months. someone get 17 months, the 13 would be average , so less 13 is possible.
if your case is really simple .

Majority of application are done within 7-9 months. Some application which has "review required tag" takes about 12-13 months to process. In very rare case it take more than 13 months to process.

My GCMS says- referring Senior Officer for Admissibility , Eligibility- passed, medical- passed,
Security & Criminality - In progress.
It is more than 9 months.
I applied outside Canada and am still waiting for my MR. I guess it would be faster if you apply within Canada.
