Was wondering if someone could give me some info on CEC processing time - although I'm aware processing times vary based on applications.
I applied for my permanent residence under CEC and received an email confirmation from CIO stating - my application was considered complete and has now been transferred to the Visa office for further processing. I was also issued a new application #. When I go track my application on CIC, it shows application received on July 10th. How long does it take since July 10th to receive a my medicals and then final approval.

right now, March and April applicants are receiving medical requests. But still a lot of Feb applicants (and a few from Jan) are waiting for medical requests. If you are lucky, you will get medical request in around next two months. Also, applicants whose online status was in-process got faster requests than the ones who have application received. Its really weird how CIC works and its hard to figure out. Some people say that it also depends on your Skill level. hope for the best and give it a bit more time. you will get it soon... good luck
hi, we already tried to figure it out based on these factors and also a few more. Nothing was consistent if we consider all the applicants who were processed faster than usual time. The only common thing was that we all had the online status showing as 'In-process'
I applied single, no dependents, from Ontario. Everyones visa office from Canada is Ottawa. They process all the applications of CEC in Canada. I did not give any special documents like bank statements etc to help process it faster..
