I have over one year of experience in Canada but left my previous job with closed work permit.
I have a new job offer that has an LMIA issued but I don't have the work permit for that yet. I started working there as IRCC sent me authorization to change jobs without waiting for an approved work permit.
The job is a permanent fulltime job and this is mentioned in the employer reference letter.
In my CEC profile I answered yes to a valid job offer because I have an LMIA for this job and since it is a permanent role I am assuming that should satisfy the requirement of having the job at one year after permanent residence.
I am wondering if this is correct?
Anyone have successfully claim the 50 points for job offer? What was your situation?
