CEC/ITA Application with Sibling in Canada - Confusing Fields

Hi everyone,

I received my ITA this week and I'm looking at my document checklist and it has me confused.

I said in the application that I have a sibling in Canada who holds PR Status. In the document check list there are these two fields:

• Family Member Proof of Status
• Proof of PR/Citizenship of sibling

They look like is there same thing. When I click on the "?" icon, the first one ("Family Member Proof of Status") tells me I need to submit a copy of the PR Card or Proof of Citizenship.

The second one ("Proof of PR/Citizenship of sibling") gives all the information about what I need to provide for a sibling, which includes the PR Card.

Am I missing something here? Would I just upload the copy of the PR Card for both of these fields?

i think that you have to provide proof of how you relate 'said sibling', example a birth certificate. and then proof of 'said siblings' status in Canada (i.e PR of Citizenship)

No. That's not the case. There is a separate field for proof of sibling relationship.
