Hi

I hope you will be able to answer my qustion. Thanks in advance.

I’ve been doing 2 full time jobs from last 1 year almost in Canada. One of the job is under class C NOC and other is under Class A code. The one with Class is a permanent job, but the class A is a contract postion which is expiring right after 53 weeks of work experience.

My employer may be able to extend the contract postition for another 3-4 months or more depending on the project I am working on right now.

Under this situation, should I go for CEC EE without permanent job offer (extended contract) or I should leave the job right after 1 year and then apply for EE CEC. I know 2nd situation makes for sense for getting case approved, but I’ve been paid very well by my company.

Does anyone has any experience of coming through this type of case? Pleade share your valuable comments.

Thanks

Can't you ask your boss to issue you the "job offer" while you still work there? I know one of my colleagues did that. So basically they write you the offer for your current position

Hi chef

What you mean by Job Offer basically? I mean they issued my Job Offer back in April,2017 where it was written that start date of my work will be 23rd May, 2017 till 31st Dec, 2017. Later they extended contract till 31st May, 2018.

What kind of Job offer should I ask for now. Also, if I attach job then I can claim additional points as well.

Can we proceed this case as just Canadian Experience of 1 year without any involvement of Job Offer.

The fact that it is a contract position is irrelevant. You can claim a year of work experience once you've worked for 52 weeks (assuming you're working full-time there).

Your work experience under NOC C is irrelevant.

Hi Del

Im not considering job woth NOC C at all.

My concern is just whether should I apply CEC EE if they extend my contract for 2-3 months let us with 1 year experience.

I don't understand how extending your contract is any relevant to whether you should apply under the CEC program or not.

Once you complete a year of work experience under NOC A you can create a profile.
