CEC calculator EILTS points changed?

Hi,

Did CIC just change the number of points awarded for IELTS? I recall you needed 7.5 across the board to get the maximum score.
Now to maximize your points you need 8.5-9.0 in Listening and 8.0-9.0 in Reading. Or has it always been like this?

It's been like this for a while now, no recent changes have been made.
