CEC - Applying as Common-Law

Hi,

Myself and my boyfriend have been common-law for 4 years (we have join bank statements, leases, etc) so we will be applying for CEC as common-law with me as the principal applicant.

If we get approved and issued PR, are there any restrictions for my partners PR, eg:

Will we be issued are own PR cards?
Will we be residents in our own right or do we both have to live here at the same time eg. can he only live here if I am here?
Are there any restrictions on the 2nd applicant?
