Hi everyone,

I would like to share my case and ask you for your opinion on same. I hold postgraduate work permit and it will expire on March 7, 2013. On March 19, 2013 I will fulfill 1 year of full-time work experience and I want to apply under CEC. I got positive LMO and applied for work permit extension which will arrive end of April or early May.

I know in the application they want copy of your work permit? My question is can I still apply in March and give them my postgraduate work permit and positive LMO or I have to wait until April/May when I receive new work permit and apply then?

Thank you for your answers folks! I really appreciate your help!

Keeping in mind that 1 year is a MINIMUM, my personal opinion is that you should wait until you receive the new work permit.
