I just wanted to understand the CEC application procedure a bit. So for now I have received an email saying "Hey March19/ssparkles,
"your application is considered complete based upon the requirements of the Instructions and Regulateion 10 of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA) " and now my application will be forwarded to the visa office. and my application has been forwarded to the Ottawa office. Also they asked me a couple of months back for my police report which I submitted and am waiting to hear about my medicals. I was wondering how does the procedure go from here. Does the visa office do another requirement check on the application or is there just one requirement check which the email I received was talking about. Also how long within the application procedure does one receive the request for medical. Also what happens after medical and how long does it roughly take after the pr to successfully be notified that you got the PR.

Currently the above means your received AOR and your application is complete , At this point They might be doing background check as they have requested PCC , I highly doubt that you have Passed Eligibility(Determined by VO) yet , Once its passed the you will get Medical Request along with it Criminality and Security checks go Along. Medicals should be received ideally between 6-7 months after applying . Once medical is successfully updated to CIC you will get RPRF request and Later PPR or COPR if you are from visa exempt country . Average processing times is 13 months so you need to respect that time frame
