CEC 12 month processing time

Did any one notice, CIC change the processing time for CEC on their site

Good to know.. I will be completing 12 months in 3 weeks.. hope all will be completed by that time...

Yes, but you have to see that this is from July 2012 to June 2013, right in the middle of the new rules application, they had less applications because some people decide to wait to the new ones, if you take a look trough the different track lists you can see that actually its taking a little bit longer to get AOR and MR in average, AOR went from 32 days to 50 something in the last couple of months. Waiting is kind of frustrating , but good thing is time never stops and 1 year or one year and a half is going to pass anyway, we are one day closer than yesterday...

It won't look surprising if you read the timeframe for this assessment-
"The processing times for the Canadian Experience Class and Live-in Caregiver Class are based on how long it took to process 80 percent of all cases between July 1, 2012 to June 30, 2013."

Most likely, the long delays due to this strike were not in picture by June 30 cutoff date.

it is a long wait....i think i can go to see MP in a few week to complian the process.... they are better to give me the medical by the due date....
