Carriage of Work permit applied outside Canada

Hello All,

Do we require to carry original work permit while entering Canada or the 'Letter of Introduction' is sufficient? (If the application is made from outside Canada)

I know that LOI does not guarantee entry into Canada.


Another question is, How can we get the Original Work permit, at border by CBSA officer?? or IRCC will send the hard copy by Courier to the residency (outside Canada) mentioned on the application

1. You carry the LOI and the Work Permit will be issued by CBSA at your first port of entry.

and If we use a representative and he/she has applied from INSIDE Canada, and sent us the original Work permit, will it be acceptable at first POE?

1. No, that is not how the system works. You receive a LOI from an overseas visa office when you apply for a work permit with a LMIA. If your agent is claiming that s/he will send you the work permit from Canada, you are being scammed,.

it is an open work permit and no LMIA. I have already received the original work permit. Is it still a scam??

FYI

I have landed in Canada last night. No problems at POE with Open WP, JO, IL, TRV. Conclusion: IT WAS NOT A SCAM!!
