Caribbean or Trinidad Study permit application

Just wondering if any one else from the Caribbean or Trinidad specifically is experienced long delays in processing time for study permit. The online processing time says 6 weeks but we are into our 10th week now

I applied online, I got an email yesterday requesting my passport and police certificate, so I sent that up yesterday evening.
