Hello all,

I have already sent an email for CAPIS, now also sending Capis request via postal mail. I have a question do we need to send prepaid envelope also when we request for CAPIS? Please reply to my post if you knw the answer, I am asking my friend in Canada to post docs for me. They will be going today to post the docs.

Thanks

You don't need that and if you have ordered by email why you sending by post? Thanks

Thanks cocknbull. Just to be on safer side, thought to send request via postal mail as well.

you might create a confusion instead of being safe. EMAIL is authentic, quick and viable mode.

GCMS is the newer version of CAIPS and is easy to understand and much better...

Yes you can request by post. If you tick on both CAIPS and GCMS you will get GCMS only. GCMS is far more better and easy to understand. Thanks

Thanks Cocknbull.I will collect via my Canadian relative bcoz this is the cheapest.Would u tell me my relative can collect by E-mail?

Yes dear he can not only collect via email, he can also apply via email. Check this. Thanks

Hi!

I tell you how to order GCMS. As you have a relative there it would cost you just $5. Its very easy. It can be done by email.

First fill this form, your (relative) requester will sign it.

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5563E.pdf

then fill this consent form and sign yourself

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5475E.pdf

Now you can even pay fees by your own credit card even if you are not living in Canada. Go to section C of the following form then follow other links given below.

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5563E.pdf (see section C Payment time is 8am-4pm ottawa local time)

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/fees/index.asp

https://eservicesak.cic.gc.ca/epay/lineofbusiness.do

After payment take the print out of receipt. Fill it, sign and scan.

Ask your relative to provide his Canadian passport /PR card and his recent bill / bank statement as a proof that he is currently living in Canada.

Scan everything and ask him to send everything by email to

atip-aiprp @ cic.gc.ca

Thanks Cocknbull.Which is the e-mail address please? aitp-aiprp@cic.gc.ca this is the correct address.

Thanks Cocknbull, could this request sent by the applicant himself from outside Canada, if there is nobody to collect it in Canada?

hey no..it can only be sent by some one who is living in canada and he / she also needs to provide the proof that he/she is currently living in canada by providing bill or bank statement in addition to pr card / passport.

If you are not living in Canada use the following websites.
