Can't link paper application to online portal

Anyone else have trouble linking their paper application to their IRCC account? I have been trying since May 2022 (I can use the webiste to check my application status) however I understand that after linking your application you get more detailed updates (for example, to see if the medical was passed)
I tried reaching out to IRCC through the webform explaining i'm having difficulties, and I always get the same response - to ensure what I'm entering is exactly how it appears on the application.
I have tried EVERYTHING and I mean EVERYTHING - every possible way.
Just curious if anyone else has advice or if I'm SOL. I'm more concerned if our application is approved, and we can't finalize it if it's through the portal.

I’m assuming you’ve searched through the forum in your efforts to resolve… but in case you haven’t, for number of applicants are you listing 2 (for PA and Sponsor)? If dependents involved, you’ll need to account for them in the number.

Also, have you tried adding a space to the last name?

Those are the common ones I’ve seen. If still not working, maybe you could try contacting your local MLA to have them reach out to IRCC? MLA’s usually get replies from IRCC within a day or two.
