Hi, Can some one tell me what is the definition of 1 year Canadian experience in express entry CRS criteria. I have 1 year experience in Canada which also include 2 weeks of unpaid leave.
1. Do Canadian experience need to be continuous to claim the points/?
2. Does having unpaid leave in 1 year experience would still be considered as continuous work experience?
expert reply...
1 - No
2 - Irrelevant due to answer above.
Literally the first website you find when searching on google "CEC continuous work experience"
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/perm/econ/cec/work.asp
"Work experience need not be continuous under the CEC."
But this is related to CEC and i am talking about Canadian experience under CRS criteria for express entry
1 - If you're applying under the CEC program your experience must not be continuous
2 - If you're applying under the FSW program you need one year of continuous work experience.
Have you created your profile?
Do you know which of the two you're eligible to?
Not yet
If having unpaid leaves( 2weeks) in my 1 year would still be considered continuous work experience than I am eligible for both cec and fsw.
Do you know about having unpaid leaves in 1 year experience would be continuous or not?
Thanks for replying
