I applied and paid the fee around 2 weeks ago, but now I'd like to cancel and get it done through WES because they're much faster. I checked the progress of my application on the CES website, and they haven't even started looking at it yet, so I sent an e-mail to them asking for a refund. Anyone know if they're good about cancelling at this early stage? The very notion of waiting 17 weeks for an ECA is a joke, and I wish I'd known before applying. If they won't return the money, I'm considering contacting my credit card company and asking for a refund.
I used them for one of my degrees but didn't request a refund. I did however find I got more information from them by calling rather than emailing them.
