I have a total of 2 years of Canadian Work Experience. Out of these 2 years, I was working remotely from USA for 6 months.
With two years my CRS is 564 but if I include only 1 year my CRS is 539. Let's say if the cutoff for the next round goes below 539, I will be eligible for that round with either 1 year or 2 year of work experience.
Now my question is can I include the two years work experience or would it be considered a misinterpretation to include that 6 months of experience even if after removing it, I am still eligible under the cutoff for that round(539)?
PS: I understand that if the cutoff goes between 539 and 564, I should most likely decline the ITA to be on the safe side.

You need to be physically in Canada to be considered a Canadian work experience. Working remotely from US would be considered as foreign work experience, regardless of who your employer was.

You have a total of 1.5 years of Canadian work experience. You do not have 2 years. Why play games with your profile and risk issues with your application?
