Okay, not sure if this is the right place or not, however my wife and I are thinking about moving to Canada. She was born there and lived there until she was around 13years old. Her parents moved to the US for work and obviously she came down as well. So, she has been here since the mid to late 90’s. She has a valid green card here, and has not renounced her Canadian citizenship.
That’s the background story. So, we are wanting to potentially look at making the move and are not quite sure where to start since she hasn’t lived there for so long.
First question would be, is she able to just come up there and setup shop since she never gave up her citizenship? Or with her being down here so long would she require some sort of sponsorship?
Secondly, would I be able to just come up with her? Or do I need to apply for a visa?
After these questions are answered I’ll post more lol.
Thank you for your time in reading this post and any help would be appreciated!

As a Canadian citizen, she has the right to enter, and remain in, Canada. She also has the right to work. Period.

You on the other hand will need to formally apply for permanent residence either through an economic immigration class, or more realistically by her sponsoring you via Family Class. All the information you need to know about the process is available on the IRCC website.
