I came to US on short work visa. After my job was done I decided to earn a degree before going back home. I applied for Student status which was denied, my lawyer filed Motion/Appeal which is still long-pending.
My lawyer in USA told me that you should exit, get a visa at consulates abroad and come back. I planned my travel to go to Canada to see a relative, then go back to India and apply for US visa there.
I applied for TRV to see my relative, I got a reply from Canadian Consulate Seattle asking me to give proof of my US Immigration Status (which I stated as F1 in my TRV application).
What documents should I submit ? I currently have expired I-94, But valid Student I-20.
