Canadian Tourist Visa online from USA

I applied for TRV online from the USA on August 4, 2013. Still I haven't heard anything from the CIC. Can anybody please let me know how long it might take to get a reply from them? Is there any way I can contact with CIC. Thanks for your attention!

I have applied for my wife from USA on August 24, still no clue...If anyone know anything please share your experience!!! I am kinda worried now as it's taking long. I thought the online processing would be faster..may be it's not

Gentlemen, there is strike going on which is creating back-log of TRV applications. CIC made online student visa applications priority since colleges and universities start in this month. I read in one of the news articles that CIC processed over 40,000 student visa applications this summer. I hope they can now focus on TRV applications.

Stop worrying. Relax and wait.
