Canadian PR while on US H1B

Hi All

I may be landing in the US this year on a H1B - my H1B application is still under process. I am aware that getting a GC/PR in USA is extremely difficult and long specially when you are from India. So I want to start a Canadian PR application ASAP while on H1B. I heard that there are some advantages that a US H1B gets if he applies for a Canadian PR - is this true? Has anybody with a H1B applied for a Canadian PR? Please post on this thread. I guess it will be easier hunting down a Canadian job while in the US.

A US H1B gets no advantages when applying for Canadian PR. The process is exactly the same as it is for everyone else.
