I have read that when I drop my passport for H1b renewal, it will most likely be returned to me and I will be asked to appear for in-person interview. I have a couple of questions -
  1. Should I even bother with dropbox or should I straight away try for in-person interview?
  2. Should I submit my CoPR along with other documents when I go for dropbox? I have a feeling they will tell me it is not a listed documented and hence wont accept it.
  3. Do I need to book an appointment for the in-person interview or is walk-in okay? I do not have my PR card, will CoPR be accepted? I have read that CoPR is pretty much equivalent to the PR card, except it cant be used to travel via air.
  4. Anyone gone through the same process recently and can guide through expected timeline - that would be awesome.
