I have a question. Can we go for Canada PR landing process by foot from US Nigara rainbow bridge by walk and come back to usa by walk?
I-797 form with valid I-94 is there, but in passport the old I-94 is there and that is expired. Is this fine to go and come back to usa or anything is needed?
Thanks for your reply. We are deciding based on the driving distance etc.
Hence the question. Also, am trying to understand the process as am new to this.
Thanks.
You can walk to the border and do landing yes. The only thing is it will be obvious that you are returning right away and therefore they may not write down an address to send you the PR cards. You will have to apply to receive the cards within 180 days from landing once you have an address in Canada. If you do not apply within 180 days then you will have to pay a $50 fee for each card.
