Canadian passport after online citizenship oath ceremony

Does anyone know how long does it take to get citizenship certificate after the online ceremony? Do you need to apply for it and wait 5 months(current processing time!!!?) or you just get it quickly after the ceremony?

Hi,

You don't need to apply. It will be mailed to you shortly after the oath ceremony. How long it takes, could be a week or a month or longer.

Depends on where it’s coming from. Mine was through Vancouver and I got it in 6 days.
