Hi my girlfriend is Brazilian and currently here in Canada on a one year study visa. we know each other for 10 years and have proof of our relationships from past years.
we want to get marry and live together here . we both have no clue where to start(not even how to get married)
some guidance would be much appreciated as far as what steps to take and rough idea of the timelines.

Getting married depends on the province you're in. Typically, you get a marriage license and then you visit a marriage commissioner or other person authorized to perform marriages. Then it takes a while to get the certificate.
