I am a bit confused about the proof of funds before landing. does this mean I have to arrive Canada with atleast 10,000 dollars to show I can sustain myself? my intention was to arrive with Atleast 4,000 dollars only. please help
P.S
I applied before the express entry and I am
The only applicant.
as my knowledge the proof of funds is when you applied to CIC and given proof of funds within your application. I assume the amount you mentioned is when you are doing the landing. You must declare if you have more than 10,000, whether is it is money draft or bank transfer or cash. I hope this information helps.

I don't think you need it.Call CIC call center and ask them if they said no you don't need it then you ask them for an email confirmation, print that email and bring it when you land
Thank you very much. I got misinformed by some
Consultant and lawyer that I would need proof of funds
At the port of entry. I felt they were wrong because I have
Already lived in canada for years.
