I am currently on an open work permit, due to expire in July 2020. But due to the current covid-19 situation I left Canada and came back to my home country.

I am working from home (remotely) from my home country, for my current Canadian employer. I am still under the Canadian payroll, where my taxes are getting deducted accordingly and my salary is being deposited into my Canadian bank account. I am also working under a valid work permit. Will this work experience count, as well as Canadian work experience?
