any news of visa, guys / gals who applied 29th june or later at chandigarh??

how long does Chandigarh consulate take?

and has everybody who applied 26june or earlier got their visas


I applied under university category on 1st july (canada day) and a day later the vfs site shows under processing at chadigarh consulate and NO FURHTER NEWS ??? ???

Please note as under, as regard my cousin's application :

Applied on : June 30th, 2015 through VFS JALANDHAR
Status : In process since July 01,2015.
Visa Office : CHC, CHANDIGARH
Category : University,University Of Calgary.
Program accepted for : M.ENGG.

Wait has become very taxing !!!

but univ category files usually get visas
SO BEST OF LUCK on tht...

i think the canadian consulate has rather been on the slower side this season .
A min. 15 working days seem as a norm.
so u might get the good news by today or tommorow

" YOUR PASSPORT HAS BEEN COURIERED FROM CHANDIGARH VISA PROCESSING CENTER ON 22/07/2015.PLEASE CHECK OUR COURIER PARTNER TRACKING SYSTEM".

Hopefully,the consignment will be delivered tomorrow.

There has not been any mail/communication from CHC Chandigarh preceding this update.Wish nd pray that everything goes off well.

I pray for all the forum members.

@gill200s have u called the vfs no. to enquire more about ur application.

their no and email is Helpline number: 022-67866002 Helpline email: Info.canada@vfshelpline.com

calling is better option they give u an idea abut current processing time for which one can wait patiently

hopefully u ll get it this week as well. as last week a lot of cases filed on 23 and 24th june had thier visas.

Yes,I have been informed a few minutes back that my cousin did receive an email suggesting approval of her Study visa. Her passport shall be collected from the office of Courier Service.

Applied on 25th june at Chandigarh from Jalandhar VFS. Visa rejected and the reason given was course mismatch. Totally Gutted! Will have to apply again under non-spp. Is the medical valid for 12 months (I heard somewhere) or I have to do every formality one more time?

No need to do formality again as the medical is valid for 1 year, u can apply again by using same medical
