All, Here is my situation. I and my spouse originally from India came to Canada as temporary workers and my 3 years old daughter by then came with us with no permit as she is born in U.S.A and didnt need any permit to stay with us. Now that we have all got our (my elder daughter too) permanent residency, the question remains when I fill physical presence calculator for my daughter, what should I mention for my child who came with us with her US passport ? "*Did you have Canadian temporary resident status (i.e. as a visitor, international student, temporary worker, temporary resident permit holder), and/or were a protected person) " ? . She was eligible for medical coverage under her mother's permit and no issues legally staying or getting government Canada services.
Pls advise.

She entered as a visitor. No one here knows if you maintained her status or not.

Thanks for the response, the stamping from her passport is proof and I got her landing notes as proof as well. If thats what you meant.

Unless she was issued a Visitor Record, she was granted 6 months when she entered Canada. If you didn't extend her status, she went out of status.
I am dubious about one goes out of status in the above circumstances, as she had the medical and schooling status still.
