I am a canadian citizen living in pakistan for 6 years with a stable job and have no plans of moving back to canada in the near future. If my wife who is a pakistan citizen wants to apply for a canadian visitor visa for a pleasure trip, how difficult would it be for her to get it?

Thanks in advance.

Could be difficult. It is hard for spouses of Canadians and PR's to get a visit visa because immigration sees risk of overstay. If you have a stable job in Pakistan and can show ties that you will return to Pakistan, maybe that will help. Some embassies are harder than others. I recall a woman on this forum who was living in Thailand with a Thai husband and they had applied for his visit visa 3 times and were always refused, inspite of having jobs and a house in Thailand.
