Canadian Born Child in PR Application

Hello. I have a question and would really appreciate your response.

My husband and I submitted our PR Application 3 months ago (non-ee) and haven’t received our AOR yet. We have a 2yr old Canadian born child. We did NOT include her in IMM 0008DEP form as a dependent (thinking she’s already a canadian), and just included her in the family information under the IMM 5406 form.

Did we do the right thing? Or should we send a webform and include her as a dependent in imm 0008dep form, even if she’s already a canadian?

We are just worried that the application will be returned after months of waiting if we made this mistake.

That sounds correct to me but the online instructions are more ambiguous (apparently ) than the physical forms.

You can try calling ircc.

I did call ircc last week and was only told to wait for the officer to review it which isn’t helpful at all as we were avoiding an application being returned
