When do you notify CIC of the Canadian address to mail your PR Card? People were saying that you don't have to that it'll be automatically done at immigration.
The address is not on any of the paperwork, so does that mean we'll have to give it to the officer once we land? Or??
You have the option to give it to the officer at landing. If you do not have a permanent address at that time, then the immigration officer will advise you on how to provide it later.
You have to provide an address within 180 days. If for any reason you do not supply an address after 180 days, the PR card application will be cancelled (application only - not your PR status), and you will need to re-apply for a new PR Card and pay the fees for this (currently $100 if I remember correctly).
