My parents are in the USA with a visitor visa and I am applying for a Canada Visitor visa. I have a question on what to write in Countries or territories of residence. Should I give USA address as they are currently residing there or India address as that is a permanent address
Would suggest listing their mailing address with the US address and lost their home country address as their residential address. Would even include a short explanation that your parents are visiting the US for X number of weeks while staying at their (insert friends or family’s family name) and list their address. They wish to continue their travels by visiting their (list name of family or friend) in Canada for X number of weeks at (list address) before returning to their home country.
@canuck78 - For me the scenario - we are GC holders (residing in USA) and my mother-in-law is visiting us on B1/B2 visa and we could like to visit Canada for tourism purposes to see Niagara falls and nearby attractions (drive to Canada)
I am not sure, it says on Google as follows
Can I go to other countries while I'm in the U.S. on a B1 or B2 Visa? B-1 or B-2 visas: During your visit to the U.S., you may visit Canada or Mexico for up to 30 days and re-enter the U.S. as long as you re-enter within the period noted on the Form I - 94 which you received when you first entered.
