Something for people to keep in mind when doing a PR landing and returning to home country for a period http://www.ctvnews.ca/mobile/canada/canada-to-begin-collecting-exit-passport-data-1.2947418 proposed to keep data for 15 years. Includes land border with US where the US will feed data back.

An Update : Seems not being implemented any time soon until legislation is passed but given the way the world is going may not be delayed to long.
