Canada submitted visitor visa application on march 14- no updates

Hello I submitted my visa application for travel to Canada to visit my boyfriend on March 14. I submitted my bio metrics on April 30.

But the status still hasnt changed...can someone advise when the visa processing will resume for travel visas? I understand that the rules are constantly changing

In your application, for purpose of your visit did you select "Other" and "COVID-19"? I did that for my girlfriend, so even though the processing time for her country said 250 days, it was processed in about 30 days.

You will also need to submit IMM0006.

hi thank you so much for the reply, I am applying from US.

Is it possible to add new upload visas after you have submitted the applications?

I dont think I select "Other" and "COVID-19"


Also was your girlfriend able to enter Canada with the TRV?

mmm so I could not fill IMM0006 because it doesnt apply to me as I am in Canada with a temporary work permit.

So your girlfriend is not eligible to travel unless you can claim common-law. Wait until for a response as your visa processing is not a priority. If you get a visa, then wait to travel until when restrictions are lifted.
