Hi, I am filling out the CIC online application for study permit accompanying with my 2 minor children ages 11 and 8. My question is do I need to apply for a study permit for my kids. As if I select study permit for them it requires letter of acceptance from school. I will only look for suitable school upon arrival in Canada depending which area I will live. I am stuck please advise how can I proceed my application with my kids.

Yes, bringing your childrenwith you on your study permit is a good idea. But if I was you I would also consider the country that I am currently living in. For some countries where study permit refusal is high, it would be a better option first to apply for yourself only.
And I don't think you need to apply for a study permit for your kids since it is only you are going to study in Canada.
