Did anyone from the US came across a small issue with passport photos? Here is our dilemma; we got our photos for the passport request done in Walgreens. And they had a Canadian standard passport photo requirements built in their system already. So, they used that preset template within their system to print our photos. But according to CIC web site each photo should be 35 to 45 mm long. And the photos we got from walgreens are like 60mm long. But the face measurements like from crown to chin ones are exactly the same as CIC web site required. So, we are wondering is the visa office going to cut them on their own OR should we cut them down to 35-45mm long? We asked walgreens photo people, they did not know and they did not have a photo cutter that size. And we are worried if we send them as they are, it might come back. Does anyone know anything about this?

This is what you should do:-
1. Print out requirements from CIC site
2. Find a local photographer and ask him/her to cut in required size.(Don't pay more than 50 bucks!)
Walmart or Walgreen templates doesn't match with CIC requirements. That's what I did when I sent my application.

Hi, here is a nice website I used to get my photos edited to Canada immigration photo requirements.
www.idphoto4you.com
I tried number of photo agencies who either cost a fortune or wouldn't do it at all. So searched and found the above website. And it's free! Take a photo, upload, match to the requirement, download the edited photo/s and print at your local photo agency.
hi, i printed out the requirements from CIC website and took it to the local photo place and got it done accordingly. i think the local photo places are better than walgreens or riteaid or other stores....
Hope this helps.
Thank you guys! It is very kind of all of you to reply! We did go to the local photo studio place. I would recommend local photo labs rather than walgreens or CVS.
