Hi All,

I am giving a thought to get job offer from canadian company.

Anyone who got job offer letter or in process, can help me how to approach to get it ?

My primary thought is to search my job requirement and find out any opportunity. If company find me suitable then they go for HRSDC approval... is that possible ? any other view. ?

Thank you for your comments.

i haven't applied for a job in Canada but i think that sounds the right way.

Some have opined in this forum that most employers do not consider applications from non residents. However if u have unique skills, your case will be different.

Which website is the best to submit resume and get a offer?

Do they do a phone interview? How does this work to get the 10 points?

thanks for the reply.

- in general it is much harder to find a job from outside compared to actually being in Canada

- employers want to usually meet you in person very quick

- also get used to not receiving an answer after applying - this is very different to the practice in my home country - if a Canadian employer is interested they will contact you. Otherwise they won't even send you an acknowledgement of your application. I think its rude - but thats how it is.

- there are plenty of people who found a job via internet and with phone interviews so give it a try and be patient!

- try www.workopolis.ca or the governmental job bank: www.jobbank.gc.ca

- also try companies directly who are covering your area of business

- try to contact the chamber of commerce (british/canadian, indian/canadian, whereever-you-come-from/canadian) - they can give you names of companies who are from your home country and might be interested in hiring people from abroad

- and make sure resume is in a Canadian format!

good luck!

Thanks for these information Mermaid..

I appreciate it.
