Hello everyone, I have a question. We are a family of four, We are originally from El Salvador, in Central America. We have been living and working in the United States for 7 years now. Our tourist visas are expired and we are here illegally. We would like to Legally Emigrate to Canada, the reason is because we cannot return to El Salvador, due to an attempt of murder upon my wife because her job was in the city prison. The risk is still there. My wife has her Master's degree in business administration and computer programming from El Salvador University. I have received a job offer from Calgary, Alberta Ca. I would like to know, What are my chances of a successful emigration to Canada with the job offer and my wife's degree. Thank you for your time reading, and i am anxious for a reply.
It's a HRSDC approved job offer as in AEO? If yes, you have 2 options to immigrate: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/apply-who.asp and http://www.albertacanada.com/immigration/immigrate/skilledworkersteps.html
If it's not an AEO, then you can ask the employer to get one, see http://www.hrsdc.gc.ca/eng/workplaceskills/foreign_workers/supperimm.shtml
If it's a real job offer and you have the qualifications for the job, I see no reason why you wouldn't be able to immigrate.
