Canada child tax benefit when does it starts...

hi,
our daughter was born this year on June/25 and though i have filed my taxes on time i didn't receive the CCTB payment on July, i called them they said that i will be getting my payment starting from august not for July.

Even the CRA lady didn't know why.

why is that , the kid was born on June so Shouldn't she receive the CCTB For July ?

In my case, my daughter was born in April but we received her first CCTB in June.

Does that mean that there is a month of a waiting period for everyone before it starts.


or Nobody gets paid the first month when the baby is born ?
