I have a query to apply for CCTB, me and my wife are Permanent Residents and now staying here in Canada, for the past 2 months we need to apply for our babies CCTB Benefits, and we have just applied for our babies PR and its still pending, my question is Can I apply for the Child benefits now when my babies PR is pending? or do I have to wait until he gets his PR? Please help

1. A copy of PR card needs to be send to CCTB.
2. Your child/primary caregiver (Mother) needs to be physically present in Canada to avail CCTB benefits.
CCTB:
1. U can apply for CCTB if u r residing in Canada.
2. It's traditionally applied by the mother (regulatory too, unless the father has their sole custody).
3. The process is simple... just fill-up the forms & send it to the appropriate Tax Centre (signed by the mother).
4. Whenever u apply the CCTB will yet be paid to u since the day u've settled down here (u get the arrears).
5. It starts to be 'directly deposited' into ur bank a/c within 4-weeks of application. Whereafter, u get monthly disbursals (usually be 10th).
6. The forms were given to u at the a/port (by Newcomers Welcome Centre).
7. If u didn't get it there u could download it online, OR visit the nearest Neighborhood Community Centre.
8. The NCC will also assist u filling it.
9. U r required to write ur 'Global Income' figures in the form (from the past year since u settled here).
10. Even if u don't earn anything here -- it yet is applicable to u.
I understood all this but my question is will my baby be eligible for this? bcus he is not PR yet we have just applied for him but me and my wife both are PR and our baby stays with us. Please let us know if anybody is aware of it...
Oh ok thats fine, but is it possible that I can apply it now when baby doesnt have his PR Status yet and we have, bcus for PR it will take another 11 months or so...just wanted to know and if possible apply for it...
