By the time, I will receive my permanent resident visa, I will already be 36 years old. For those Federal Skilled Workers above 35 years old who landed in Canada, do you think in general we can still find a good job in Canada?
Age of 35 to 45 would not make an impediment for finding a job if there are available job vacancies of your profession, subject to your qualification and experience. Please note that a Canadian experience has always preference.
Of course you can, I know somebody who is 65y/o and retired here in the philippines went there when he was petitioned by his daughter and now currently working.
May I ask if your profession is regulated, coz if it is then it may take sometime for you to do the kind of job that you have now, but if its not, then I dont think theres any problem with your job hunting.
And Yes jobs are there but you have to take the right approach...network know people join Coops and then once you have your foot in your journey starts
Then that should not be a problem, but of course just like every migrant, most of the time you will start at the bottom and work your way up. Anyway, goodluck to you.
yup, so most probably, ill land a survival job first then take the exams needed to be licensed or re-train again. But, Ill think about that once I got a VISA.
